Abandoned Vehicles
A vehicle is considered abandoned if it is inoperable, is more than five years old, and has been left unattended on public property for more than 48 hours or left unattended on private property without the consent of the owner or person in charge of the property for more than 48 hours.
Junked Vehicles
A vehicle is considered junked if it:
- Is self-propelled
- Is inoperable
- Does not have a valid license plate or valid motor vehicle inspection certificate
- Is wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled, or discarded
- Has remained inoperable for more than 45 consecutive days
