Expunction

An expunction may remove a conviction, along with all complaints, verdicts, sentences, and other documents from the applicant’s record. Review the instructions and information provided to determine your eligibility for an expunction.

The information provided on this website constitutes the statutory requirement of this court to inform you of your right to an expunction as provided by 45.054 Code of Criminal Procedure; 45.0216 Code of Criminal Procedure; 106.12 (a)Alcoholic Beverage Code; and 161.255 Health & Safety Code.

The court staff is prohibited from advising or assisting you in the preparation of your petition for expunction. You have the right to hire a lawyer to file this petition, or you may choose to represent yourself. Please complete the application  for expunction carefully. The filing fee of $30.00 must be included with your petition.
